Full disclosure: I would rather go to the dentist and have several cavities filled than attempt to have the boys' pictures professionally taken all on my own again. This session will go down in memory lane as the stage where Beckett refuses to look at, much less, smile at the camera. *sigh..... Someday I'll look back at this and laugh, right???

Wyatt's First Haircut!

I finally broke down and decided it was time for Wyatt's first haircut. First, you must understand that he was bald for about the first 16 months of his life, and so when he finally did sprout some hair, I didn't have the heart to get it cut! It was getting fairly long in the back, so I decided it was time. He did so great!.......held really still, and didn't seem to mind it at all. And now he looks like such a little boy!

Wyatt is 18 months old...and walking!!!

Wyatt is 18 months old today, and he is really getting more and more comfortable taking steps on his own.

Wyatt signs 'more'

I've been working with Wyatt on sign language for just a few basic words. Today, he signed "more" for the first time!

Just reading a book.....

I peeked around the corner and found Wyatt, just sitting in the living room by himself, reading a book. SO cute!, I just had to take a picture from my vantage point in the kitchen..........

......and then HE spotted ME!!!!!! :)

Wyatt Roper is 1 year old today!

One year ago today, our lives were forever changed by the addition of our second little boy. He is the happiest little baby ever and we love him to bits.

Lots of grandmas, grandpas, cousins, aunts and uncles helped us celebrate his big day.....
