Out in the country

Today, we went to visit our friends on their farm out in the country. Beckett had loads of fun playing with Tian (they are only a few months apart in age). A big highlight was playing on the old school bus on their property.

Earth Day

So I bought some tulip bulbs back in the fall of 2007 to plant in my yard. I so badly wanted to have a splash of color in my front flower beds. Well, that was also the fall that I got so very sick while pregnant with Wyatt, and planting bulbs was the farthest thing from my mind. I found the bulbs in my garage last fall, and despite their sad state, I decided to plant them anyways, in hopes they would make it. And I'm so glad I did, because they did poke through the ground this spring, and the very first one bloomed today, Earth Day (coinsidence?). Here's to many more blooms blossoming this season......

I {heart} Seattle

Me and the two little boys had the chance to get over to Seattle for a few days this week. We had so much fun enjoying some big city sunshine after a long Spokane winter......

Roadtrip!

And, we took the ferry over to Silverdale & Bremerton.....

We colored (raw) easter eggs tonight (long story!)....Beckett had a hard time patiently waiting for the eggs to stay in the dye long enough!

Wyatt Roper is 1 year old today!

One year ago today, our lives were forever changed by the addition of our second little boy. He is the happiest little baby ever and we love him to bits.

Lots of grandmas, grandpas, cousins, aunts and uncles helped us celebrate his big day.....

Beckett and Wyatt spent the afternoon playing with Reagan, Kaylee, Caelyn, Carli and Luke at Mobius Childrens Museum. Beckett especially loved playing in the sand and water!

April?!....or December?

Even though we flipped the calendar over to April yesterday, we woke up to a few inches of snow this morning.... We are more than ready for spring weather to arrive!
