First Visit Back to Spokane

The boys and I got to go back to Spokane for our first visit since we moved.  Unfortunately, Leon had to stay behind to work.  :(   Our time went by way too fast, and we had a great time with all the ones we got to see!

Don't let his sour face fool you - we had to wake up at 4:30 the morning we flew out, so he was still a little on the sleepy side....but SO VERY excited to be going back to Spokane!

And, an evening downtown with Grandma & Grandpa...............

Oceanside, CA

We went up to Oceanside to check out the beach and pier.  Did you know that the Oceanside Pier is the longest wooden pier on the Western United States coastline at 1,954 feet??  Neither did I, until I came home and looked it up.  This pier goes waaaaay out into the water and there are LOTS of people fishing off of it.  When we walked clear out to the end, one of the fishermen had just caught something, so we watched him and one of his buddies pull it up.  Turns out it was a sting ray!

Memorial Day BBQ

Our friends, Melanie & Mat had us over for a BBQ on Memorial Day.  Beckett and Wyatt LOVE playing with their girls, Sierra and Amber.....
